How do I use a gift card or loyalty points online?

You can redeem an Arnotts or Brown Thomas gift card and use your Encore Loyalty points during checkout. This article explains how to apply each option securely when shopping online.

Using a gift card online

1. Add your items to the basket and proceed to checkout.

2. Under the Secure Payment section, select Use a Gift Card.

3. Enter your gift card number.

   • For physical cards, scratch the panel on the back to reveal the full number.

   • For eGift cards, use the code from your email.

4. Click Check Balance to confirm the amount.

5. Apply the gift card balance to your order.

6. If the balance does not cover the full amount, you can pay the remainder using another method.

Using Encore Loyalty points online

1. Log in to your Arnotts account before checkout.

2. If points are available, your Encore balance will display automatically.

3. Click Redeem to apply your points to your order.

4. The value will be deducted from your order total before selecting your payment method.

Important information

• Gift cards do not expire and can be used across multiple orders.

• Gift cards are issued in euro but may be used for products priced in EUR or GBP online.

• If your transaction fails after applying a gift card, the balance may be temporarily frozen for up to 36 hours for security reasons. The balance will reset automatically.
