How to Use a Arnotts Gift Card

Arnotts Gift Cards offer a flexible way to shop both in-store and online. Whether you’re using a physical gift card or an eGift Card, here’s how to redeem your balance easily.

1. Using Your Gift Card In-Store

  • Present your physical or digital gift card at any till point in Brown Thomas, Arnotts, or BT2 stores.
  • Let the cashier know that you’d like to use your gift card as full or partial payment.
  • The remaining balance on your gift card, if any, will be available for future purchases.

2. Using Your Gift Card Online

  • Step 1: Log in to your account on brownthomas.com or arnotts.ie.
  • Step 2: Add items to your cart and proceed to the checkout page.
  • Step 3: Under "Secure Payment," select the “Use a Gift Card” option.
  • Step 4: Enter the full gift card number located on the back of your physical card or in your eGift Card email.
  • Step 5: Click “Check Balance” to confirm the available amount, then apply the balance to your order.
  • Note: If the gift card balance doesn’t cover the entire purchase, you can pay the remaining amount using another payment method.

3. Important Details

  • Currency: Gift Cards are available in Euro only. E-Gift Cards purchased in Euro can be used as full or partial payment for products in both Euro and GBP when shopping online.
  • No Expiry Date: Brown Thomas and Arnotts Gift Cards do not expire, so you can use them at any time until the balance is fully depleted.
  • Split Payments: You can use the gift card balance partially, allowing you to make multiple purchases until the balance is zero.

4. Failed Transactions and Temporary Freezes

  • If an order fails after applying a gift card, the balance may be temporarily frozen for 24-36 hours as a security measure.
  • The balance will automatically revert to the gift card once this period passes. We recommend waiting 24 hours before attempting to use the gift card again.
