How Can I Check the Balance of a Gift Card?

Keeping track of your Brown Thomas or Arnotts Gift Card balance is easy and can be done online or in-store. Here’s how to check your balance at any time.

1. Checking Your Gift Card Balance Online

• Step 1: Log in to your account on brownthomas.com or arnotts.ie.
• Step 2: Add an item to your cart and proceed to the checkout page (you do not need to complete the purchase).
• Step 3: Under "Secure Payment," select the “Use a Gift Card” option.
• Step 4: Enter the full gift card number located on the back of your physical card or in your eGift Card email.
• Step 5: Click on “Check Balance” to view the available amount on your card.

2. Checking Your Gift Card Balance In-Store

• Visit any Brown Thomas, Arnotts, or BT2 store and bring your physical gift card to any till point.
• A staff member can assist you in checking the balance on your gift card.

3. Important Information

• Currency: Gift Cards are available in Euro only, though Euro-denominated gift cards can be used as payment in both Euro and GBP for online purchases.
• No Expiry Date: Brown Thomas and Arnotts Gift Cards do not expire, so you can check your balance at any time as long as there is a remaining balance.
• Recently Applied Transactions: If you’ve recently used your gift card, please allow a few minutes for the updated balance to reflect in our system.
