Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to initiate a refund for both online and in-store purchases.
1. Refunds for Online Purchases
To request a refund for an item purchased online, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Prepare the Item for Return
Ensure the item is in its original packaging, unused, and in a saleable condition. All tags should be intact, and the item should be packed securely. -
Step 2: Complete the Returns Form
Include the completed Returns Form provided with your order, indicating that you would like a refund and specifying the reason for the return. -
Step 3: Send the Item Back
You are responsible for returning your own goods, but we offer preferential return rates with An Post and DPD. Customers can choose to use these services for convenience or arrange their own return shipping.- Republic of Ireland (An Post): Returns through An Post cost €4.95, whether using their pick-up service or dropping the parcel off at an An Post location. Visit An Post Returns to generate a return label or schedule a collection.
- Northern Ireland (DPD): Returns via DPD in Northern Ireland are also available at a preferential rate of £4.95. This service requires dropping off the parcel at a DPD location, as pick-up is not available. Visit DPD Returns to arrange your return.
If you choose not to use An Post or DPD, please arrange your own return shipping with a carrier of your choice and retain proof of postage and tracking details.

Step 4: Receive Refund Confirmation
Once we receive and process your return, we will send you a confirmation email, and the refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow up to 14 days for processing after receipt of your item.
2. Refunds for In-Store Purchases
For items purchased in-store, follow these steps:

Bring the item you wish to return along with your original receipt to Arnotts store. Ensure the item is in its original packaging and saleable condition. -
Step 2: Processing Your Refund
In-store refunds are typically processed immediately at the point of return, with the refunded amount credited back to your original payment method. Please allow 3-5 business days for the refunded amount to appear on your card statement, depending on your bank’s processing time.
